About Me
Welcome to my jewelry shop, where the ancient techniques of wire wrapping and lost wax casting come to life through my hands. Each piece in my collection is thoughtfully handcrafted, blending time-honored methods with a modern, artistic twist. I specialize in one-of-a-kind creations, using high-quality stones and metals to craft jewelry that is as unique as the wearer.

Lost wax casting starts with a carefully sculpted wax design, encased in a plaster mold. Once the wax melts away, molten metal is poured in, capturing even the finest details. Wire wrapping, an ancient art, allows me to weave fine metal wire around stones, creating intricate and distinctive designs.
Whether you’re looking for a delicate necklace or a bold sculpted ring, my pieces reflect my deep appreciation for authenticity, craftsmanship, and sustainable sourcing. Each creation tells a story—perhaps even yours. I take pride in delivering exceptional quality, innovative designs, and a personal touch with every order.
My Story
As a child, my grandmother lovingly called me ekstertje—Dutch for “little magpie”—because I was always drawn to anything that sparkled. I was mesmerized by my mother’s and grandmother’s jewelry, fascinated by the way light danced across each piece. As I grew older, my love for natural stones and crystals deepened, especially during my travels as a carefree, adventurous spirit.

While exploring South America, I started making macramé bracelets and necklaces, spending countless hours knotting intricate designs. It was a simple craft at first, but one that brought me immense joy. Over time, my style evolved, leading me to the art of wire wrapping. As my skills grew, I began incorporating more precious materials and gemstones, refining my work into delicate, luxurious pieces. For years, I balanced my jewelry-making with my full-time job as a yoga instructor in Scheveningen, Netherlands.
Eventually, I became fascinated by lost wax casting, but I didn’t know where to begin. My adventurous spirit craved something new, so my partner and I moved to Mexico—a leap that changed everything. There, I met my mentor, Oscar from Prezzi Joyeria, who introduced me to the lost wax technique. Working under his guidance was amazing, and I absorbed everything I could during that time. Tho I learned the basics at Prezzi, I refined my work by 'just doing' and developed a style I can now call my own.

As I honed my craft, I invested in tools and built a small studio in my apartment in Mexico City. Today, my favorite part of the process is collaborating with clients to create stunning custom pieces. From the comfort of my home, I craft each design with love and intention, and I can’t wait to create a piece that becomes part of your story.
