To maintain your jewelry’s beauty, we recommend storing it in a cool, dry place and avoiding direct contact with water, lotions, or perfumes. Regular polishing with a soft cloth will keep your pieces shining bright. We provide detailed care instructions with every order to ensure your jewelry lasts for years to come.

Is Mariposa Made jewelry hypoallergenic?

We craft our pieces with premium metals like sterling silver and gold, which are generally suitable for sensitive skin. If you have any specific allergies, please reach out to us! We’d be happy to guide you to pieces that best suit your needs.

Can I order a custom or personalized piece?

What is your return and exchange policy?

Return/refund Policy

All sales on Mariposa Made are final, with the exception of defective items. Please keep this in mind and take a moment to double check your size before ordering. 

  • It is the customers responsibility to reveiw product descriptions, images and sizes thoroughly before purchasing pieces.

If you have any doubts regarding sizing, please contact us before ordering so I can help you.  

Defective Items

At Mariposa Made we strive for quality in every handmade piece. If you receive a defective item, we want to make it right! Defective items may be returned and will be reviewed on a case by case basis.

Please contact us at mariposa.ecomm@gmail.com within 48 hours of receiving your order. We’ll need to know the details of the defect and will request photos to help us address the issue. Once verified, we will offer a replacement or repair. 

To ensure the longevity of your jewelry, please follow the “Item Care Instructions” carefully.

If you believe you have received a damaged or defective item, please email us at mariposa.ecomm@gmail.com within 48 hours of receiving your order. In your email, include the following information:

  • Your name
  • Order number
  • Proof of purchase/payment
  • Description of the issue
  • Photos of the item

Please note that we reserve the right to deny any requests for return, exchange, or repair based on our assessment. Thank you for your understanding and supporting my small business.

What happens when I place my order?

Depending on if your item is in stock or made to order, Tanisha gets to work asap. Either on making sure your in stock item gets to you as soon as possible! Or she starts crafting your made to order piece with the utmost precision and care. Depending on the piece you ordered she might get in touch with you for some questions or extra details.

  • In stock items will be sent out within 7 business days after receiving payment
  • Custom and made to orders can take between 1-6 weeks depending on the requirements of the piece, and will be communicated with the client.
